SLAMUN Debuts at John Burroughs

On November 5th, the St. Louis Area Model UN held its inaugural conference at John Burroughs High School, bringing together students from various schools. Delegates addressed critical issues like gender identity in sports and global warming. The conference showcased the determination of young minds to tackle global challenges through diplomacy and cooperation.

Meet Diego, a soccer enthusiast from Monterrey, Mexico. Having moved to the United States at a young age, he spent part of his childhood in Miami, Florida, before eventually settling in St. Louis, Missouri. A devoted fan of Toluca FC, and Juventus FC, he dreams of visiting Turin to witness a live game.
